Awesome! Thank-You God, and thank-you Pastor for being His vessel for His Word. This story in 1 Kings 13 has always left me perplexed that one, who knew the Word of God and had seen it in action, would allow himself to be deceived. As you made mention he even mentioned it himself more than once what God had told him. That is but one reason why this sermon is so important. Many times Christians will allow themselves to be deceived by others who purport to be Christians, (Mat 7:22). Yet if they were to go to His Word and readily see that it’s contrary to what is written, they might avoid the trap the man of God fell into. Even the asking of guidance seems too much of a burden to do at times. Maybe the man of God’s burden was getting heavy (hunger) and with a trip ahead of him, the old prophets’ words could have been an easy excuse to satisfy his desire? Hind site can be 20/20, but in this case we really don’t know the why, just that he did go against what he knew to be the Word of God. Wow! I could go on and on and on. Needless to say I was touched and once again, thank-you Pastor Coon and pray that God will Bless you and keep you always (Psalm 121).

I understand people being punished for their own sin. Can you explain why a family may be "punished" for another family members sin... Why is a family NOT blessed because of the actions of the leader of the household... even when other members are trying to live right?? Is there a scriptural reference that addresses this?

These sermons are a God-send! I have missed all of you since we moved in 2001. It is good to hear Pastor's voice again. I always learned so much from him.
I actually feel like I'm back "home" when I listen to each one.

How are you having a problem? All speakers are listed in the drop down menu as well as any series of sermons. Are you looking for something specific? If it is an older sermon, those are not available on this site - only on the in old archive which is here http://calvarydover.org/ind...

What do I have to do to get a sermon? It used to be sooooo easy. I put in the name of speaker and date and clicked filter and nothing came up.

Has it worked for you before? If so, try again because we had a brief error in this weeks and had to reload. It's working in iTunes now.

There seems to be a technical issue with the podcast. I-tunes won't download the file, and I can't play it from the website.
